many si usa nelle frasi negative e interrogative, mentre in quelle affermative si usa a lot of, a great deal of, plenty of: quindi si dice he hasn’t got many books, non ha molti libri, ma he has got a lot of books, ha molti libri; many ha valore plurale: al singolare si usa much. |
